Come join us for a weekend (June 23-27) filled with outdoor action and excitement. This summer, Edmonton will be hosting the Canadian Road Cycling Championships, the most prestigious cycling event on the domestic racing calendar. This event is comprised of three separate events: Time Trial, Road Race and Criterium for Junior, Elite and Para athletes. We are looking for lots of enthusiastic volunteers to help us put on great events at the Beaumont Rec Centre, the Alberta Legislature and on Whyte Ave. We need volunteers along the bike course; we need helpers directing the flow of traffic at the main venue; we need folks behind the scenes to assist with the back-up timing system, and so much more! In addition to participation from the highest level of cyclists in Canada, we are also running our 2nd annual Urban Fondo, an opportunity for local cyclists to feel like a pro on a closed-course community race. Each volunteer will receive an event t-shirt and hat plus food during each shift. We'd love to have you join the team!
